Langford Scholarships are due by April 1st to Mrs. Lynde.

Brittney Kelly Lone Memorial Scholarship:

This $250.00 scholarship will be based on:

  1.           25% grade point average

  2.           20% ACT Composite Score

  3.           20% Community Activities

  4.           10% Extracurricular Activities

  5.           25% Recommendations

Clark Larson Memorial Scholarship:

Students must have participated in high school athletics. Criteria used to select the recipient of this $500 scholarship is as follows, but not limited to: academic achievement, leadership ability, character traits, exhibited work ethic, financial need, effort put forth to reach the limit of each individual’s potential.

Ernie Kruse Memorial Scholarship:

This $1000.00 scholarship is awarded to a senior student who is planning on entering the teaching profession.

This $1000.00 scholarship will be based on:

Ivan Sjovall Memorial Scholarship:

This $500.00 scholarship is awarded to a senior student who plans on attending a college/university or technical college and major in Agri-Business, Ag Production, or Animal Science.

Jessica Goebel Memorial Scholarship:

This scholarship is for $250.00 and does not focus on GPA but instead selection is based on respect of/from others, dependability and work ethic.

Langford Evangelical Lutheran Church Scholarship:

Requirements for this $500.00 are:

  1. Be a member of the Langford Evangelical Lutheran Church.

  2. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.

This $300.00 scholarship is for a senior who has is currently a member of the Langford Student Council.

This $1,000.00 scholarship is for a student who has participated in high school boys’ basketball.

Academic excellence is considered for this $500.00 scholarship but is not the only thing considered in selection. Other important criteria are:

  1. Displayed character and personality traits

  2. Developed and potential leadership skills

  3. School and community involvement

  4. Volunteer activities

  5. Displayed work ethic

  6. Effort extended to reach the limits of each individual's potential.
