Oral Interpretation is an activity open to all students in grades 7-12. It involves choosing and presenting a short piece of literature. Junior High competes in the spring & High School competes in the fall. This is our first year trying a junior high program. The piece selected must fit into one of the following categories:
Students have the opportunity to participate in at least three contests. In 2005, we had two students, Brittney and Alyssa, competed at the state tournament. Brittney competed in oratory and Alyssa competed in poetry and serious prose. All the students did an excellent job!
